Courtney Cox Yells “Pivot” While Installing A Bit Of Furniture & Gives Off Major Ross Geller Vibes

One of the most interesting aspects of an actor’s life is that they get to inhabit these fictional realms and create memorable moments or characters out of them. And while that’s entertaining enough, the enjoyment factor goes up a notch if they bring a part of it into the real world. Benedict Cumberbatch brought out his Sherlock Holmes persona to rescue a cyclist. Jason Momoa used his Aquaman trident to crash a wedding. And now Courtney Cox has remade an iconic scene from ‘Friends’.

Recently Courtney Cox posted a video of her friends installing a table in a bedroom. And she made the whole process extra special by channelling her on-screen brother, Ross Geller (played by David Schwimmer).

Just another Friday night #pivot

Every ‘Friends’ fan will know that Cox repeatedly saying “pivot” is a callback to the episode ‘The One with the Cop’, where Ross decided to buy a couch. And while trying to take it up to his apartment he kept shouting “pivot!” at Chandler and Rachel. Thankfully, Cox didn’t have to cut her table in half and then sell it back for a measly $4.

‘Friends’ fans were delighted to see Courtney Cox’s recreation of the scene and they burst out laughing.

At this point, it has become customary to shout “pivot” whenever you are moving any kind of furniture even if you don’t need to pivot. And if the people helping you move doesn’t understand the reference, sit them down for a rerun of ‘Friends’ after the job’s done. They will definitely thank you later.
