The novel coronavirus has been declared as a health emergency globally. And, while scientists and doctors are working tirelessly to cure the disease, people have found unique ways to tackle the deadly outbreak.
Recently, in a bizarre incident, a conservative pastor used spiritual healing to ‘cure’ people of coronavirus. Televangelist Kenneth Copeland attempted to ‘cure’ his viewers by saying prayers and reaching out to them through the television screen, reports Indy 100.
Have a look at the odd video:

The 83-year-old told viewers they were “healed” of the coronavirus as he asked them to touch their screens to receive the spiritual healing, reports Newsweek. Outstretching his oily hand towards the camera, Copeland was quoted saying,
“Put your hand on that television set. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord Jesus. He received your healing. Now say it: I take it. I have it. It’s mine. I thank you and praise you for it. According to the Word of God, I am healed.”
At the end of his prayer, Copeland announced, “Healed and well.” However, his speech didn’t go down well with many people.
People called him out for his “healing” methods that claimed to cure those infected by the deadly virus:
Rubbing hand sanitizer in my eyes right now after watching that.

The only person who is a bigger fool than one who believes this is the one pulling the stunt. Well, biggest ones of all are the ones who think Copeland believes it.

At a time when the World Health Organization is trying its best to curb misinformation, this “healing” process might give people fake hope, don’t you think?
