However, PBKS seamer Arshdeep Singh ruined RR’s party in the match’s final over. Needing 5 off the two final deliveries, captain Samson chose to deny South Africa’s Chris Morris (who is the most expensive foreign player in the history of IPL) a crucial single in order to keep the strike and bring the home victory by himself. But in vain 119 (63), Punjab Kings ultimately defeated RR by 4 runs, News18 reports.
They paid 16.25 crores for Sanju Samson to turn Chris Morris back for the single.
