People around the globe have been asked to practice social distancing in order to contain the spread of coronavirus. In fact, the outbreak is so devastating that people are asked to stay home and move out only in case of an emergency. And even when they walk out, people are asked to maintain a distance of atleast 1 meter from each other.
While some are following the norms quite religiously like the ones who stood in a queue outside a liquor shop in Kerala 1 mt away from each other, a few others like Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor are attending parties after returning from a coronavirus hit nation. In another such case, a Chinese man was booked for carrying five women on his electric scooter recently, reports Daily Mail.
The videos and pictures of the incident that show all six of them squeezing together on a scooter without wearing facemasks have gone viral on social media.
The cops have however nabbed the man and during the investigation, he confessed that he met the women in an ice cream shop who then asked him to carry them on his scooter to collect some items. All five women who took a lift from the man have also been detained by the cops.
It’s definitely not the time to make a mockery out of social-distancing by doing such stupid things and it’s the need of the hour that we start taking it seriously.
