Sometimes, during the months of April and May, the heat in certain parts of India is impossible to endure. Places like Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal and Kerala, among others, experience drought-inducing heat and it is very easy for a person to suffer from heat stroke if they step out of the house and travel under direct sunlight.
There are several measures one must take on those days when the heat gets a bit too much to handle. Keeping yourself hydrated, eating light homemade food and having a bath daily is of course the bare minimum one can do. Many are also privileged enough to have air conditioners at home and at their workplaces. However, other people who may not have the luxury of air conditioning might have to resort to other means to keep themselves cool. Here’s an example.
In China’s Guangdong, the temperature soared to a whopping 37.9 degree celsius on May 31. It was then that a guy decided to hop into a large fridge to relieve himself of the heat!
According to News18, a video of a guy from Guangdong sitting inside a large fridge and scrolling through his phone went viral. While not much has been said about the video, it seems like the fridge belongs to a convenience store because it has multiple beverages stored inside it.
One thing’s for sure – the guy isn’t trapped inside because he casually opens and shuts the door of the fridge with his knees and smiles at the camera.
