Every year around this time, Cherry Blossoms, which are also known as Japanese cherry and Sakura, are in full bloom across the hilly city of Shillong in Meghalaya located in northeast India. Trees filled with pink flowers never fail to amaze their viewers and some might even mistake the pictures as being taken in Japan!
This year too, the Cherry Blossoms season didn’t disappoint as Shillong got painted in pink! People took to Twitter to share gorgeous visuals from both the official Cherry Blossom festival and outside neighbourhoods. Have a look:
