Lt. Gen. Satish Dua (Retd.) also offered to help Pradeep get into the army.

During an interaction with NDTV, Lt. Gen. Satish Dua said, “His video touched a cord. He runs 10kms a day, I found that so endearing. Also, josh is so heartwarming. We need such soldiers in the army. As a soldier, he would do very well. Such a clear focus and determination to achieve his aim. So I spoke to the Colonel of KUMAON Regiment, Lt Gen Rana Kalita, the Eastern Army Commander.”

“We sometimes help some boys in whom we see some potential. So we make sure they pass the recruitment test. Lastly, he would not be granted any favors. He will have to clear the test on his own merit. Seeing a josh like that one expects that he should be able to do clear it.”
