Not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth. While for many it takes immense hard work as well as luck to score one day’s meal, for some others even a king-size bed and lavish amenities seem ordinary. Some grow up playing ludo, UNO,
Basically, kids manage to find a way to play and have fun no matter what circumstances they live in. And a picture doing rounds on social media lately is proof!
Business tycoon, Anand Mahindra shared a picture of kids playing carrom board on the street. The reason why this picture stands out is that the kids aren’t playing the game on a regular carrom board. It appears that they have dug a shallow ditch in the soil and drawn a square on it to fashion resembles a carrom board, complete with the lines and pockets! They are seen using bottle caps as strikers and carrom coins in the game.
What an inspiring photo to see in my #whatsappwonderbox this morning. Incontestable evidence that India has zero poverty of imagination… pic.twitter.com/WYYu1ohX84

The picture has gained a lot of traction on social media with people praising the kids for their creativity.
And they're using bottle caps for carrom men👍🏼🙂 But sir, I feel India cannot be called a developed nation until each and every citizen has the basic need met, i.e. food, clothing and shelter…I see only one boy in the pic is wearing a shirt…that's really sad

It’s rightly said, “Where there is a will there is a way” and these kids surely prove the proverb right.
