When Bunty Aur Babli released back in 2005, I had decided that I’m going to con people for a living! Rani Mukerji and Abhishek Bachchan had made going around frauding people look so charming, hilarious and easy that I was completely sold on the idea. My parents soon sat me down for a talk because they were concerned by my watching the movie almost every weekend. It is then that understood that it was illegal. It has been 14 years since its release and I still dance to Kajra Re in every party!
Bunty aur Babli is all set to return and I can hear the fangirl inside me screaming! According to reports, the sequel will be called Bunty Aur Bubli Again and will be casting Rani and Abhishek in their original lead roles!
“The sets will be constructed in the first week of June in Mumbai and the shoot will also begin next month,” told sources.
They added, “The filmmakers have roped in the original cast and they will start shooting for the film from next month.”
Rani Mukerji and Abhishek Bachchan are one of Bollywood’s favourite couple on screen. Their chemistry is just too good to be true. Many of us, much like myself, were rooting for them to get married till Aishwarya came along.
