I love Jane Austen. I mean I’ve spend most of my summer vacations cooped up in bed re-reading Emma. But when my mom saw me skip meals to finish my book, she started dragging me to the dining table, so I had no option but to keep my book down in haste.
But what I hated more were the creases in my old copy of Emma, because I’d folded the page instead of using a bookmark. Since then, I always have a bookmark around. And now days I’ve sort of become fascinated with them, because I think my books should have the best.
