Mumbai Police Cracked The Bollywood Underworld Code Names And We Bet You Didn’t Know These

Thanks to Bollywood films, by now you must be well-acquainted with few of Underworld’s code words like – bhai, khokha (a crore), peeti (a lakh), supari (contract killing), lambi (AK-47) and nine number ki chappal (9mm pistol).

But Mumbai Police just cracked a new list of names that had them baffled, for quite a while now, when they heard them on tapped telephonic conversations.

Wonder what Salman, Alia, Ranveer, Ranbir mean in the underworld? Here are 9 Bollywood names and what they mean in the underworld code language.

* Sultan: Kingpin, drug mafia.

 

* Ranveer Singh: Peddler

 

* Ranbir Kapoor: Host

 

* Alia Bhatt: Cocaine

 

* Kangana Ranaut: Afeem (a poppy derivative)

 

* Katrina Kaif: Smack

 

* Priyanka Chopra: LSD

 

* Anushka Sharma: Hashish

 

* Nargis Fakhri: Ecstasy

Now, that’s quite creative on part of the mafia, using Bollywood names like that. Surprised, much?
