20-Year-Old Beauty Pageant Winner Scores 98 Percentile In CAT And Grabs A Seat At IIM-A!

Nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it.

And those are not just mere words because we have seen good and courageous people of the world overcoming everything with only grit and determination.

A dazzling name in the list of people who don’t know how to back down, is of this beautiful and extremely talented girl, Akanksha Choudhary. Why you ask? Apart from doing everything she was doing on the modelling front, she cracked CAT 2016 with 98.12 percentile.  

 

Hailing from Ajmer, Akanksha is also among the top 5 of her batch from SRCC, Delhi (Sri Ram College of Commerce). In an interview with Indian Express, she said that she always knew she wanted to do MBA. The moment she got a seat in the reputed SRCC, she knew she was capable of much more.

“I aimed to study at IIM-A since I was in school. After bagging a seat at SRCC, I wasted no time and made sure to solve and practice questions on quantitative subjects.”

 

Akanksha never planned to become a model and it happened just by chance. After causally auditioning at a management institute, she got selected in Miss India Elite and won it last year. Elaborating on how it happened she said,

“I took part in the event just out of interest. I did not expect to win, let alone work as a model after that.”

 

But now she wants to peruse modelling on the side as it inspires her to be fit and healthy. Talking about how modelling changed her, she quips,

“Being a model has groomed me to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle and understand that the beauty lies in the values we inculcate in our lives.”

 

She also said that being a model has taught her how to manage time better. She was doing a lot of work while her college was going on, she participated in events where she was always travelling. To make sure she doesn’t miss out on studies, she would cut her sleep and read while on the move.

“The rigorous routine of maintaining a healthy body and taking part in modelling events has even pushed me to manage my time wisely.”

 

Now that she has achieved her dream of bagging a seat in one of the country’s most reputed colleges, IIM Ahemdabad, this is how she said she plans to manage her time,

“I follow a strict diet and take part in various events during the weekend. I spend my weekdays fully focused on studies and attending classes.”

 

Very ambitious and determined to achieve her goals, Akanksha knows that she doesn’t want to quit modelling. She said that she wants to climb the corporate ladder!

“My dream is to become a niche consultant. So I want to learn how the entire corporate world works and climb the corporate ladder.”

And that’s not it, she will also be representing India internationally in the Miss Face of Beauty International pageant that will be held in Delhi in September.
