Bangalore has become like an IT hub, so I’m pretty sure we’re all going back and forth to have meetings, see friends and crack deals. But Bangalore isn’t just about living in your corporate suite and eating Gobi Manchurian(which btw is the Vada Pav of Bangalore). It’s the best damn place to explore! So rent a bike or a car, if you haven’t got yours and welcome the monsoon this weekend, with a kickass getaway
Treat Bangalore as a base and go explore, otherwise you aren’t really doing justice to your trip!
1. Ramanagara

Why go there?
Here’s the wine paradise of South India! If you’re up for a glass of wine, this is the chance to gear on and drive down in the rain! It’s downright beautiful!
2. Nandi Hills
Distance: 62 kms
Why go there?
The drive is exhilarating! There are sharp turns, steep roads with barely any barricades and the view from the top is worth all of it. So if you want an adventurous drive, look no further.
3. Bheemeshwari
Distance: 102 kms
Why go there?
It’s the Mecca of adventure! River rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, you name it and you got it. If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, book yourself a package!
4. Bandipur

It’s a stellar national park and what better time to connect with your wild side than during the monsoon. they have constant safari’s and you might get a chance to spot a leopard or two.
5. Coorg
Distance: 243 kms
Why go there?
There is this kickass thing called microlighting, basically it’s sitting on a tiny little plane like thing with a bird’s eye view of Coorg, which by the way is called the ‘Kashmir of South’! Something you can check off your bucket list.
6. Chikmagalur
Distance: 243 kms
