‘Baahubali 2’ is not just a film, its a phenomenon. And ironically, ‘The Conclusion’ is the beginning of the benefits that the film and its makers are about to reap. Not to forget the glory it is bringing Indian, especially regional cinema. But apart from the larger than life aesthetics, the film has set the box of ringing and how!
We’ll tell you how. SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2’ has now broken the record for the highest grossing Indian film, beating Rajkumar Hirani’s PK.
While the Aamir Khan-starrer made Rs 792 crores in a week, Prabhas-starrer magnum opus has collected over Rs 915 crore in just 8 days.Â

To add glory to glamour, ‘Baahubali 2’ has also surpassed the lifetime collection of ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ which concluded its box office collection at Rs. 650 crore.
That’s not it the movie is also creating waves outside India. And this video by BBC, acknowledging the fortitude of Indian cinema is proof.Â
