This Photographer’s Powerful Photo Series Speaks For All Those Silenced Rape Victims!

Rape is not the woman’s fault. Get that into your heads. If she’s drunk, let her be. If she’s wearing a short skirt, compliment her on how well it suits her. A girl is NEVER “asking for it.” Rape is always a man’s fault, and this should be driven into everyone’s head until it becomes a universally accepted truth.

Belarusian-born photographer Yana Mazurkevich recently did a photo series, depicting rape victims, and it’s all kinds of powerful. Titled ‘Dear Brock Turner,’ after one of the biggest rape cases plaguing America, this was done for the social awareness platform Current Solutions.

Victim blaming is rampant, and it has to be nipped in the bud. And this photo series makes a very bold statement.
