Anil Kapoor Clicking Beti Sonam At National Awards Is Basically What Our Dads Would Have Done

The amalgamated look of pride and happiness on our fathers’ faces upon our achievements is a feeling that cannot be merely put to words and is cherishable, totally. So, we can just about imagine how elated Sonam Kapoor would’ve been when she was conferred upon with a National Honour, in front of her father, her mother and her alleged beau Anand Ahuja.

Speaking of Anil Kapoor, he was the proudest father on the whole block, who just couldn’t contain his happiness.

Just when his Beti was being awarded the National Award for her brilliant portrayal of Neerja Bhanot in ‘Neerja’, like any father, Anil was busy capturing the moment on his mobile camera. And, it’s just totally what our dads would have done.

 

Not only that, he even shared more pictures from the highly regarded ceremony of his daughter. In this one, she’s smiling ear-to-ear with her team, post her commemoration.

 

And, an ‘epic’ moment according to him was this one.

 

Just look at those gleaming eyes and that extremely proud look on Kapoor Sr’s face.

Now, isn’t that super-sweet? Takes me back to my convocation, where I topped and my father did the same. And, I am sure your Dads, too, must’ve done the same at some point. But that was just graduation. This was a National Award. So we can only imagine how Anil must be feeling and how his chest would be swelling up with pride.

Because that’s how Daddies feel toward their little girls!
