As a kid, I remember looking forward to my birthday because Maa would cook all my favourite food items. A massive desi spread was cooked for my family, friends, and me including polao, chicken curry, fish curry, parathas, and lots of sweets. Sometimes, we would even ditch the birthday cake for birthday kheer!
However, to have such a spread would seem like just an Indian thing. But recently, an American chef named Rick Bayless cooked a delicious desi spread for his son-in-law’s birthday, reports Times Now.
The birthday meal included butter chicken, saag paneer, chana masala, and parathas! He took to Twitter to post a few pictures. Have a look:
