Akshay Kumar Donates Rs 50 Lakhs Towards Drought-Stricken Maharashtra Villages. #Respect

Maharashtra is facing the worst water crisis this year. Akshay Kumar, being a noble person he is, stepped in to help.

Akshay Kumar has donated a whopping amount of Rs. 50 lakh for drought-stricken Maharastra. His money will help ‘Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyaan‘, a scheme launched by the government to make the villages drought-proof.

Akshay Kumar came out in support of this initiative wholeheartedly. His donation will surely help the severe condition of the state.

 

Devendra Fadnavis, the Chief minister of Maharashtra, thanked Akshay for his generous contribution.

The state’s water condition is worsening day by day; only 380 cubic meters of water is left for the use of farmers and their families.

 

Besides Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar is also helping the drought condition in his own way.
