If we had to come up with a tagline for each year, 2018 would definitely have been “The year of weddings.” Actually, the wedding spree started with Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tying the knots in December 2017 which was followed by the humungous celebrations at Sonam Kapoor’s marriage with businessman Anand Ahuja last month.
Just when we thought the party is over, Neha Dhupia surprised us all by marrying best friend Angad Bedi. And guess what? We have a few blockbusters coming our way with the rumours of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh marrying each other, making some noise.
While that’s scheduled at the end of the year, we have two Ambani weddings ahead of us.
All of us are aware of the fact that Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta got engaged a couple of months ago but here is something to pop your bubble. That was just a mere proposal ceremony while the real deal is set to take place on the 30th of June.
However, here we have a snap of the invitation card which of course, only the biggies will get.
Wait up, that’s not all. It has been paired with a video invite which invites all the luminaries formally! The video has been beautifully blended with pictures of Akash and Shloka along while the song ‘Shubhaarambh plays in the background.
And here we are, inviting via text messages and phone calls. Sigh.
