The reputation and quality of an airline hugely rely on the behavior of its crew towards its passengers. And if there is a brand which has just scored full marks in it, it has to be Air India.
In an incident that took place on an Air India flight, an elderly woman realized that she forgot her passport bag at the security point. After being informed about it, the crew went all out and began their search for the bag. They ran back to the security, conducted a thorough search and finally found the bag.
The incident was shared on Twitter by journalist Vir Sanghvi, who happened to be on the same flight. He wrote,
On a @airindiain flight.Ready to take off but an elderly passenger just realised she forgot her passport bag at security. Annoying to wait but heartwarming to see the staff run back to look all over for it.
They found it.
An airline with a heart.

Though the flight was delayed, the efforts of the Air India crew were highly appreciated by the people, both on the flight and online!
Something about AI. They even fuss if you refuse a meal. Have a huge soft corner for them.

There is something special about Air India but we have lost sight of it since it started making losses. So much so it lost confidence in itself as well.

Appreciate Air India and also your spirit 👍 It’s easy to fume over a delay for someone else’s mistake.

Once in Mumbai after a tiring day I was set to board an AI flight when I realised I had lost my Boarding pass. The ground staff went overboard to get me a new one and even delayed the flight by a few minutes. They made up the time in air finally. Three cheers to AI .

I forgot my suitcase key at security in 2012, was flying AI101. The attendants were accommodating and allowed me to go run and get the key even after boarding. They get much less credit than they deserve.
