One would think that Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’ cannot get into any more trouble than it already has. The Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer adaptation of the epic Ramayana has been grabbing headlines ever since its release, and for very bad reasons. Whether it be the poor depiction of Raavan (played by Saif Ali Khan in the film) or the cartoonish VFX or even the cringeworthy dialogues, Adipurush has been in enough soup already.
However, there’s more. Adipurush has a fight scene which is apparently a frame-by-frame copy of the fight scene from The Avengers (2012).
Remember the iconic shot which showed the 5 Avengers assembled to take on the enemy?
Yeah, so Adipurush copied that.
A video comparing the two scenes back to back was posted on a subreddit named r/Bollywood on Reddit. Have a look:

This left people online all the more disappointed and face-palming hard. Some even claimed that the background music for this scene in Adipurush sounded very similar to that in The Avengers.Â
