When we think of grandmothers, we often imagine them to be saree-wearing, busy in the kitchen making achaars kind of a woman. Or playing with her grandkids, drinking chai under the morning sun kind of a woman. While a grandmother can be all that, she is much more too. Here’s one of them.
A guy named Akshay Marathe from Pune took to Twitter to share a video of his 83-year-old grandmother who was seen playing carrom with ease. He revealed that she is a carrom champion, who won gold in the doubles and bronze in the singles in Pune’s All-Magarpatta City Carrom Tournament against much younger people.
Inspired by my 83-year-old Aaji who won Gold in the Doubles and Bronze in the singles in Pune’s All-Magarpatta City carrom tournament against much younger and steadier hands. 👑👌🎯 pic.twitter.com/Mh1pPnUa2O

Although Akshay tried to take credit of her awesome carrom skills as he practices with her, he along with others got completely destroyed by the grandmother while playing a match with her. She is that good!
We can take some credit for practicing with her although @abhijeet_dipke and I got destroyed by Aaji, despite being paired with @PulkitS_ 😜 pic.twitter.com/N6mmb8v5ul
