Smart Dad Asks Kids To Draw Him As He ‘Posed’ While Actually Taking A Nap

Parenting is no joke! Although one might love seeing the tiny creatures speak gibberish in their cute voice, toddling their way around the house with their tiny limbs, but bringing them to rest so you can pause for a moment is the toughest job I know of. And that’s where some smart parents come up with parenting hacks so that they can sneak in some moments of peace. After this Japanese mother who used her life-size cut-outs to calm her baby, this father from Colorado came up with an idea that’s earning him praises online.

It was Michael Weber Jr’s turn to babysit the four kids while their mother, Monica Weber was out shopping, reported News18. But when the mom came home, 20 minutes later, she was surprised to see the kids (who might have otherwise burned down the house or poked pencils on each other’s eyes if left unattended) sitting peacefully facing their sleeping father.

Actually, Michael who is an OR nurse had asked the kids to indulge in ‘realism art’. He asked the kids to make a sketch of him while he posed AKA naps and the winning one gets chocolate. In order to earn the treat, the kids sat down and started drawing their napping father. She wrote how her husband, who had just come home after a 12hr shift as an OR nurse, sneaked some nap time while she went grocery shopping.

"I'll keep the kids so you can grocery shop in peace" ….then I come home to this 🥰🤣I'm pretty sure he's the most…

She wrote, “I’ll keep the kids so you can grocery shop in peace” ….then I come home to this. I’m pretty sure he’s the most brilliant man I’ve ever known. He has them doing “realism art” while he “poses” AKA naps. The winner gets chocolate, but let’s be honest, @michael.w.weberjr is the one winning lmao. Nice one Michael, nice one,” she wrote.

People on the internet applauded Michael’s smart hack.

Let’s be fair and award him as the smartest father of the year already. What do you think of this idea? Tell us.
