Certain incidents have proved in the past that animals are way more sensible and compassionate in comparison to humans. We have previously seen how a monkey closed a water-tap after drinking from it, and also how a mere crow threw an empty plastic bottle into the dustbin. There are so many important lessons we can learn from these creatures!
Another addition to the list is this elephant calf which helped a tortoise move away from the middle of the road to ensure its safety. In a video that has been going viral, the calf nudged on the tortoise’s shell, almost as if asking it to move to the side of the path. It also seems like the tortoise understood what the calf was asking, and readily moved away from its way!
Watch the video here:
This #elephant calf is teaching a lesson: #Animals have first right of the way. Opposite to the person who behaved yesterday on road while staff blocked road to give way to a Jumbo.

The video was posted by Indian Forest Service Officer Parveen Kaswan. He pointed out how the video was a stark contrast to another incident where a man riding a bike disregarded a blocked road and rode anyway, even when he was inches away from hitting an elephant.
You know what is most difficult part of #wildlife management. Managing the #humans. Even after blocking the road by staff this person decided to cross it while others were waiting. Just missed by fraction of a second from becoming a memory. Don't do this ever. pic.twitter.com/x8QRZYJMKc

People on the internet are wow-ed by the elephant’s “civilised” behavior, hoping for humans to learn something from the video.
Discipline! But just, too damn sweet!
