There have been ‘n’ number of times that I have tried to sneak in food into my mouth in the middle of class because I was super hungry, but I couldn’t. Because hunger was 10-times better than the embarrassment of getting caught in front of the whole class! I sometimes wish I had been a little smarter.
Like this 9-year-old girl, who filled an empty lip-balm tube with cheese so that she can eat it in class without getting caught!

The girl’s mother took to Twitter to post a picture of the self-made ‘cheese-stick’ and went on to add how she felt letting the teacher know about it would be better.
I figured I should message her teacher. I'll report back. pic.twitter.com/2HCmVRfi5j

And she was sure that her little one would go places!
My mom (her grandma) just posted on FB: "This kid is going places! Maybe to the principal's office, but she's going places!" 😆

After getting her note, the teacher had quite the laugh and admitted that she didn’t catch the little girl biting or licking the cheese-stick in the middle of class.
Update: I picked her up from school. Her teacher saw my note and thought it was hilarious but did not detect the 2 (!) cheese tubes she snuck bites/licks of during standardized test breaks. Also, she loves the positive tweets, especially ones saying “the future is female.” 💪 🧀

Further confirmation that the future is female.

One more proof that adulting is not good. Children are so simple & creative in their thoughts.

If I had half the genius that this kid has when I was her age, I could have conquered the world!
