Being a celebrity is never easy! Not in India, not anywhere. While fame and name are lures that come with it, stardom also brings, an army of troll waiting to scrutinise every act and every appearance, an actor is supposed to make. And the latest to fall victim to this kind of cyber bullying was the 16-year-old ‘Dangal’ star, Zaira Wasim.
Needless to say, the entire nation was shocked and appalled when Zaira posted an out-of-the-blue apology on her Instagram and Facebook accounts and that a Kashmiri teenager was forced to apologise because she met Mehbooba Mufti, J&K CM. Zaira later deleted her posts due to all the hue and cry but the Twitterverse is not ready to let go and for all the right reasons.
Even clebrites have thronged to Zaira’s support condemning the act of bullying.
1. Real life Geeta Phogat extended her support.

2. Anupam Kher calls Zaira his ‘role model’

3. And Swara Bhaskar seconds it!

4. Madhur Bhandarkar rings in sense too!
Dichotomy of ultra liberals…evident when Meryl Streep spoke but silent when #ZairaWasim gets trolled,is our zaira's voice not loud enough?

5. Pooja Bhatt is asking a very important question!

8. Even Kaif, asked the what the entire nation wants to know!
Such a shame that Dangal superkid #ZahiraWasim had to apologise.
What wrong did she do ?— Mohammad Kaif (@MohammadKaif) January 17, 2017
Yes, there still exists a big wall that divides us on the basis of religion and ideologies but if any religion permits one to call other crass names with incessant abuses, is the question!
