Meryl Streep’s words echoed not only at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards‘ night but, ever since then, has been resonating in all forms of media. What the ‘Iron Lady’ said that day triggered questions that will our Bollywood celebrities ever be that vocal? And, when it comes to expressing opinions, Indian media turns to the Khans, Kumars, Roshans, Kapoors and Chopras of the tinselville. But, there’s one Khan, who wouldn’t speak about it.
Shah Rukh Khan in an interview to Hindustan Times, points out clearly why he wouldn’t say anything and rues the day he expressed his opinions, openly.
SRK says that it is sad, how celebrities’ views are put across.
When he doesn’t say anything, then…
But, he lauded the Hollywood veteran’s speech a lot.

While pointing out the fact how in India, a totally different kind of journalism is practiced, SRK said,
My respect for Shah Rukh Khan is growing immensely, each passing day. And, it is not the SRKian in me who’s speaking, it is the rationale of this Khan that appeals to me and makes me say that.
Respect! ✌
