Fiction vs Non-fiction.
A seemingly eternal battles. Readers are mostly divided into fiction loyalists and non-fiction. Not that they think one is upping the other, but is, in general, a better preference for them. Nonfiction lovers think that fiction is lofty and doesn’t have a real connect with reality and is a world of illusions. The non-fiction lovers sometimes think real life experiences of other real people teach us is all we need to learn. But fiction is not what they think. There is so much to learn if you pay more attention, stripping it away from the entertainment factor.
Here are a few examples of fiction novels which impart valuable life lessons through their intricate stories.
1. The Great Gatsby By F. Scott Fitzgerald
This book is a revelation of love. Love is a macabre yet beautiful thing that is extremely difficult to explain as portrayed by the leads of this story. It makes you and breaks you constantly and you learn to love is nothing like what you thought it’d be.

The quest for being a greater person, achieving the best that is possible through reaching the heights of human potential is a lesson this book provides to every reader and it’s one of those books which stay with you forever.
3. Atlas Shrugged By Ayn Rand
This book is Bible to those who are goal oriented and it eggs on every reader to be the best they can be. Ayn Rand’s philosophy of Objectivism is intriguing and described at it’s best in this book through the female lead of the plot. After all, Who Is John Galt?
4. A Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy By Douglas Adams
This book inspires us to expand the reaches of our imagination as far as they could go and a comedy in the backdrop of science fiction eggs us to enjoy life as much as possible.

This series teaches us that perseverance and presence of mind are the key to sailing through anything imaginable and sometimes unimaginable circumstances.
