“I Can Lift 50 Kg Weight On My Head,” Says 80-YO Coolie Providing Free Service To Migrants

When it comes to lending a helping hand, age is never a restriction. Earlier, a 12-year-old school student from Noida used all of her pocket money to send 3 migrant workers home to Jharkhand.

Now, 80-year-old Mujibullah who works as a coolie at Lucknow Railway Station is carrying the luggage of daily wage earners without charging them for his services, reports Hindustan Times.

The elderly samaritan works for 8-10 hours and believes that this “khidmat” is his important duty. Yahoo News quoted him saying,

“I am working as a coolie here and I provide free service to the passengers. I am 80 years old and still, I can lift 50kgs weight on my head.”

Furthermore, he distributes food and water to passengers on the trains and says that he can earn money once the lockdown is over.

People are lauding his compassion for the needy and saluting his indomitable spirit.

Kudos sir, for showing us that humanity should always be our top priority.
