A Couple Had An Eco-friendly Wedding With Dogs Included In The Guest List. #WeddingGoals

Indian weddings are full of life, but it also comes with a hint of tamasha and a humungous amount of food varieties, which goes to waste most of the times.

A Mumbai couple chose a different path: they opted for an eco-friendly wedding and people were also allowed to get dogs in their wedding.

Shasvathi and Karthik are animal lovers and they didn’t let this aspect affect their wedding.

Let’s take a tour of how the eco-friendly wedding took place where there was no real flowers, no silk sarees, no leather, no wool and no milk products.

1. The Henna used for the bride was organic and herbal.

2. The bride’s makeup was not tested on any animal. It was directly applied on her.

3. Chuck the flowers! The decoration was made by clothes.

4. No banana trees were cut for this wedding. They were temporarily planted in a pot.

5. Paper napkins were left aside and 2000 old newspapers were used.

6. Organic toiletries were given as presents.

7. The vegan ice cream was transported from Delhi in a special refrigerator in a train (to avoid carbon footprints in flights.)

8. The spoons used were edible. Hey, bonus points for this!

9. Since the couple loves animals, they allowed the guests to get their pets in the wedding too. So yeah, it was an animal-friendly wedding.

10. And last but not the least, the couple arranged for dry coconuts with a message carved that said to take care of the environment.

Wow! This might just be the best eco-friendly wedding ever and it gave us some major wedding goals.

Congratulations to the couple! 🙂
