Varun Dhawan Says He ‘Voted Last Year’ And People Are Confused If They Missed An Election!

In this era of digitisation, nothing stays under the wraps. In fact, a mistake made can prove expensive, even more, when you’re a celebrity. I don’t mean to dig old wounds, but we all remember how Alia Bhatt inspired a whole genre of memes because she didn’t know who the President of India was, right?

If that is too old for you, I’m sure Varun Dhawan being caught in a word crime by Grammar Nazi will ring a bell! While that was that, ‘Badrinath’ has landed in another soup and it’ll leave you in splits.

It all started when Varun Dhawan couldn’t vote for the BMC elections and came out to make a statement to his dear friends in the media. He said,

“It’s bizarre because I voted last year.”

Turns out, he shouldn’t have.

 

And, as expected, Twitter took notice and trolled him for the fact that there weren’t any elections last year!
