Team India Tumbled Like A Deck Of Cards And Indian Twitter Didn’t Lose Its Funny Streak

Virat Kohli and the Indian cricket team were having a dream run in test cricket at home. After thrashing New Zealand, England and Bangladesh brutally in their backyard, everyone was expecting a similar result against the Australian team. And with the visitors back in the pavilion with just 260 runs on the board in the first innings of the first test at Pune, everything was going just fine.

Just fine until Murali Vijay and KL Rahul opened the Indian innings.

Steven O’Keefe and Mitchell Starc caused carnage on the star-studded Indian batting line-up as wickets fell one after the other at a ‘dry as a bone’ Pune pitch. Stalwarts like Kohli and Pujara fell cheaply and India lost the last 7 wickets for just 11 runs!
