Gone are the days when cricket was the only sport that brimmed with achievements. We now have people from different sports who are breaking national records.
And one such sportsman is India’s star swimmer – Sajan Kumar. He set a new national record at the 69th Senior Aquatic Championship.
He set a record in men’s 1500 m freestyle championship by clocking a time of 15:41:01.
He hails from southern India. He had participated in 68th Indian National Aquatic Championship, where he bagged a gold medal in 1500m freestyle. Also, he represented India in Commonwealth Games and Asian Games in the year 2014.
Other new national records were also set.
Mana Patel: Set a new national record in the 100m backstroke.
Malvika: Set a new national record in the 1500m freestyle.
