If sources are to be believed, Rahul Gandhi doesn’t just watch Chota Bheem. 😛
Apparently he’s out there being the Chota Bheem of Congress in Gorakhpur, where he’s selling onions at only Rs.5 per kilogram.
That’s correct. In a move to highlight how expensive food, and in this case onions have become under the Modi government, Congress district general secretary Anwar Hussain, has launched a campaign that is selling onions at a subsidized rate of only Rs. 5 per kilogram compared to the market price of Rs. 40 per kilogram.
And this wasn’t all. During the Lok Sabha elections last year, the Gorakhpur unit had also brought in the ‘Rahul Milk’ (turns you strong like Chota Bheem) and the ‘Rahul Herbal Tea’ (which will make you really healthy).
