Watch An Annoyed RP Singh Throw Away A Fan’s Phone When Asked For A Selfie

Cricket is known as a gentleman’s game. From Sir Donald Bradman to Rahul Dravid, we have seen some very fine players who have set standards of politeness along with setting cricket records on the field. However, the game has also witnessed some disgraceful incidents of fights, abuses and assaults. A shocking incident took place during the final match of the Ranji Trophy on Saturday. Gujarat won their maiden Ranji title against Mumbai at Indore’s Holkar Stadium but their moment of glory got shadowed by a sour incident.

This video uploaded by Ankita Verma is from the Ranji final. Pacer R P Singh, playing for Gujarat, was fielding near the boundary line. When a fan from the stands asked him for a selfie, an annoyed R P took the phone out of his hands and threw it on the ground.

R P may have gotten annoyed from the request, but wasn’t the reaction a little too much?
