This Bus Driver Saved 75 Passengers From The Brutal Attack Of Terrorists In Gurdaspur

Terror shook Punjab yesterday. The small town of Dinanagar located in Punjab was attacked by gunmen carrying AK-47 guns. The fear and the loss of lives was looming over everybody’s head not just in Punjab but also all over the nation. Though it is saddening to state that people were killed, but tragedy was also averted in many ways. Like, five live bombs were found in the railway tracks which were defused.

Adding to that is a common man (bus driver) also did a heroic deed. He saved 75 passengers who were sitting in his bus.

1. Punjab Roadways driver, Nanak Chand saw that the terrorists were firing directly at his bus.

2. Without panicking a bit, he drove the bus towards the terrorists and didn’t stop the bus at all.

3. As the terrorists were afraid of the impending bus towards them, they moved back but continued firing through the windscreen.

4. Nanak Chand continued driving and drove the injured passengers to a government hospital and immediately informed the police.

He said that there were 75 passengers in his bus and it was imperative to save their lives anyhow. Otherwise, imagine the massacre that would have caused by those four gunmen!

Not only him but five live bombs were also detected and then defused near Amritsar-Pathankot railway section.

5 live bombs were wired to a small bridge on Amritsar-Pathankot railway section. As a result, a train was stopped 200 metres before the bombs.

All the terrorists were killed yesterday and the operation ended at 5 PM.

Terrorist attacks have become frequent all over the world. But incidents like Nanak Chand show that we need to stand tall and help our fellow countrymen in this time of need. After all, you don’t need any superhero costume to prove you are a  hero!
