After the infamous Vijay Mallya scam that shocked the country, businessmen and bankers stayed clear of foul play and illegal moneymaking. Or at least they became more careful about not getting caught while doing it.
However, recently another incident came to light. International jewellery designer, Nirav Modi recently got caught by Punjab National Bank conducting a fraud of $1.77 billion, i.e. ₹11,400 crore in a branch in Mumbai.
Even Priyanka Chopra is suing the designer for a non-payment of dues for the endorsement ads. Siddharth Malhotra, who had signed a contract of three commercials with the brand, is also considering legal options in the given situation.
Twitterati being true to themselves, dealt with the situation by cracking jokes. And some are so funny that you should be sure that you’ll be rolling with laughter.

Yo Nirav Modi,
On the bright side, at least 20% of Twitter will be too scared to tweet about you. They dont wanna type your last name. They know that IT cells and troll farms don't read full tweets.

22. The terminology has changed.
Remember the good old days – when those who robbed banks were called "robbers" and "bandits". Now they're called "industrialists" and "billionaires".

The CBI has booked Nirav Modi for cheating. But whether this will be another Mallya case or not, it’s too soon to tell. The common people of the country do hope a thorough inquiry is conducted and justice is served.
