Soon, Microsoft Will Let You Flip The Middle Finger… As An Emoticon

People who are busy typing sentences with emoticons on their phones, wishing for more symbols – smile, because Microsoft’s new operating system, Windows 10, will include the middle finger emoji.

Windows 10 is set to release in July 2015, which will also see the arrival of this emoticon in a range of skin tones, according to Emojipedia.

The middle finger emoji was approved as part of Unicode 7 in mid-2014, but was absent from iOS, OS X, Android, and Windows. But not anymore!

“Microsoft is aligning with the latest Unicode Standard specifications, which includes this image,” a Microsoft spokesperson said.

Just when you thought technology couldn’t get any better, it just raised its bar – with a single finger! (pun fully intended!)
