The newspaper is filled with stories of loot and robbery like some epidemic on the loose. But, while almost all of them end up writing the losses incurred by store-owners, there is one that leaves us laughing at the fate of the robbers.
Recently, thieves broke in the Kedai Emas Sri Alam jewellery store in Malaysia and tried to bust open the glass counter full of valuables. But thanks to the wonder glass used in the display (polycarbonate glass is what I hear), the goons couldn’t even touch the collectibles.
As the video uploaded by the store’s Facebook page chronicles, the men in helmets took the help of hammers to smash the display.
But all their efforts went in vain subsequently. Â
Needless to say, their epic fail is now going viral on the internet with over 5.8 million views (and counting). In the same FB post, the store has confirmed that nobody was injured, although the store will remain shut for restoration.
In fact, reports also suggest that the officials are investigating the case and six suspects have found to be involved.
