Divyanka Tripathi Thrashes Person Who Called Her ‘Pathetic’ For Going Dark-Skinned For A Role

Social media has completely changed the course of all traditional forms of media because of its one plus point- interactivity. But this one feature can be both a boon and a bain for many. Especially for our celebs who are now open to so much more hate than before.

Divyanka Tripathi has been one such victim to online trolls. But what’s great about her is that she doesn’t shy away from calling people out when they try to make nasty comments about her. She had earlier slammed fans who called her a “gold digger” for marrying her husband, Vivek Dahiya.

Once again, the star has been at the receiving end of online haters. Divyanka was pretty excited about her new Haryanvi look and shared a photo of herself from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Many fans appreciated her new avatar and showered her with compliments. They said she was nailing her new look and called her simply stunning!

However, some fans were simply not in favour of her changing her skin tone for a role. One, in particular, called her “pathetic” and “disgusting” for doing the same.

According to India TV, the troll also said, “Black facing yourself for the sake of a TV serial track is pathetic. You didn’t lighten your makeup when you were pretending to be a foreigner in the serial. Why did you darken yourself to become a maid? Exactly. Double standards.”

However, Divyanka wasn’t one to take things lightly. She responded saying, “If I chose to be dark… How’s it pathetic?”

On Divyanka’s part, she seems to have given the troll a thing or two to think about. Her statement “know me first before judging” holds true for everyone.

We should think twice before sharing something hurtful towards celebs. Do we just post whatever comes to mind before thinking because they are celebs and might not read all the comments they get?

What we say could have an impact on them too, after all, everyone is human. So let’s try to be kinder with our words.

And Divyanka, haters gonna hate. ❤ I for one, think you’re looking absolutely stunning.
