10 Songs By ‘A Band Of Boys’ That Completely Changed The Music Scene In Early 2000s

When the boyband culture was pretty new to the Indian scene, 5 boys hailing from different parts of India, came together and formed ‘A Band Of Boys’. And, the music scene changed forever. With their very first single they shot up on the chartbusters and band members Karan Oberoi, Chin2 Bhosle, Siddharth Haldipur, Sherrin Varghese and Sudhanshu Pandey became overnight heartthrobs. ❤

They were also said to be Boyzone or Backstreet Boys of India. And, they put the groove on with their songs which were a rage. Being a millennial, listening to their music was a big part of my growing up years. Much so, that when I wanna re-live early 2000s, my playlist has many of ABOB songs, No kidding!

Without further ado, here are ten songs that are on our ’00s playlist.

1. The track is so soulful and we fell in love with it at the first listen.

 

2. The moment it began with “Aa jaa meri jaan, tujhpe mera dil qurbaan”.

 

3. Our neends were gone too over this song.

 

4. And, they drove us crazy with their peppy number.

 

5. Not only the song but also the video was too good.

7. They documented a movie Kiss Kis Ko, sang for it and even starred in it.

9. Though not very, very popular, but still good.

 

10. A song of friendship, ABOB fans cherish.

Did you know they even composed music for John Travolta starrer From Paris with Love?

Though they still do tours, we miss Siddharth (who went on to partner with Sangeet).

And, we miss the whole gang, don’t we?!
