Right after the Paris attacks, hacker group Anonymous declared a war against ISIS, by posting a video on YouTube. In that video, they warned ISIS by saying that they will hunt them down and not let them go. “The French people are stronger than you and will come out of this atrocity even stronger,” is what they said.
Anonymous declared war against ISIS after the Paris attacks
Make no mistake: #Anonymous is at war with #Daesh. We won’t stop opposing #IslamicState. We’re also better hackers. #OpISIS

But recently, through a Telegram channel that’s believed to be affiliated with ISIS hackers, a message was sent out calling Anonymous idiots, followed by a set of laughable instructions to avoid getting hacked.

After that, Anonymous made its first move by taking down over 5,500 Twitter accounts belonging to Islamic State.

Since, it was recently speculated that ISIS might have used PlayStation (PSN) accounts to plan attacks, many people asked Anonymous about taking down those PlayStation accounts.
People are asking why we aren’t attacking PSN accounts of ISIS militants. Well, that’s something to consider, but our main focus on Twitter.

They might go after the PSN accounts soon.
You can contribute too. Anonymous urged people to intimate them about any possible ISIS-affiliated account under any suspicion.
To report ISIS accounts, put them into a pastebin and post in IRC, or upload them to the link in our profile.

Other security groups like Ghost Security (an offshoot of Anonymous) have also joined the cyber storm against ISIS.

They also allegedly reported that ISIS regularly uses cryptocurrencies to fund its operations. It uncovered a single address worth $3 million in bitcoins, which was owned by militant groups.

These groups have decided to use their might to tear down the terrorists to bits. (and bytes)

Expect us.
