According To Forbes, Zara Owner Overtakes Bill Gates To Become The Richest Man In The World!

Spanish founder of the most renowned fashion chain, Zara, Amancio Ortega becomes the world’s richest man, according to Forbes.

After the surge in shares of Inditex on Wednesday, his income saw a fortunate leap of $1.7 billion, accounting for the net worth of $79.5, leaving behind Bill Gates by a sum of one billion dollars.

Ortega was the son of a rail worker in Spain and has come a long way since then. He found the fashion giant Zara in the year 1975 and there is no stopping him after that.

80 years old now, Ortega is ready to pass on his glamorous empire to his ever so beautiful daughter Martha.
