Santosh Kaveri is a rural entrepreneur from Belgaum (Karnataka) who has come up with this unique braking system for bullock carts. Farmers around the country still rely heavily on bullock carts to transport large quantity of goods over long distances. And often on slopes and uphill, it becomes tiresome and dangerous to skillfully maneuver the cart without manual help, which puts strain on the labourers and the oxen.
