With environmental concerns around the world growing at an alarming rate, it is time for us to play our role as responsible inhabitants of the planet. While environmental activists all over the world are trying their best to clean up the mess, nothing’s gonna work if we fail to get our basics right.
Displaying the lack of essential civility, we tend to throw empty bottles plastic packets and other trash on the streets. And without a second thought! As an example, this video posted by CGTN on Twitter shows exactly that.
In the 39-second video, we can see a car parked at a traffic signal in Beijing, China. Soon after a pause, the window of the car rolls down and trash is thrown from it right on the street.
According to reports, the incident took place on September 17.
On witnessing the act, a female motorcyclist decides to teach the woman inside the car a lesson on cleanliness. Instead of moving on with her own business, she parks her bike right beside the car, picks up the waste from the street and dumps it right back into the car.
After finishing her job, the biker rides away forcing the woman inside the car to come out.
