IFS Officer’s Visiting Card Grows Into Basil Plant When Planted, Twitter Lauds Idea

Every day, we tend to discard so much waste including plastic wrappers, vegetable peels, paper bags, plastic boxes left behind from ordering food, etc. Now imagine, 100 people disposing the same amount of waste every day. Now imagine 1.3 billion people doing the same. The amount of waste that gets accumulated is unimaginable.

What we can do as individuals is adopt more eco-friendly ways of living and take small steps towards doing so. Like Indian Forest Services Officer Parveen Kaswan, who is giving out visiting cards which when planted grows into a beautiful basil plant.

People on the internet are impressed and are lauding this innovative idea. Many claimed how more people and companies should take such an initiative.

Kudos to IFS Officer Parveen Kaswan for taking such a ‘green’ initiative. We hope many more people are inspired to do the same!
