It’s not every day that you get to read the above headline. But there are firsts every time. And no, it’s not the scientific benefits of monkey urine or anything. It’s more of chance and timing.
AÂ monkey was sitting on a Mango tree under which a family of 30 were taking shade.
The family had returned from a religious ceremony in Srirangapatna, Karnataka, near the River Cauvery. As they were resting under a tree, a monkey atop it started urinating on them. Disgusted by it, they immediately moved out.
Just minutes after, the entire Mango tree came down.
Apparently, the roots of the tree were weak, and the family were thankful for being saved. Although three other people decided to stay back. One lady from the three lost her life, while the other two were injured.
Call it a premonition of sorts, but the monkey did save a lot of lives.
