Police from across India have been forced to put their thinking caps on and come up with creative ways to punish lockdown violators because some people just don’t get the seriousness of the pandemic! From performing aarti on violators to “threatening” them with Masakali 2.0, cops are leaving no stones unturned!
A few cops from Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, deemed it fit to punish a young fellow by making him dance to a popular song ‘Teri Aakhya Ka Yo Kajal’ allegedly as punishment for violating the lockdown, reports India Today.
A video of the incident has gone viral on the internet and what’s funny is that the man is in high spirits while dancing to the number! His impressive moves make the cops cheer and hoot for him! Have a look:

People on the internet are divided over the nature of the punishment imposed on the man. While many said how it was harmless, some pointed out how it was a misuse of power.
From the video it's looking as if it was really harmless fun everyone was having. The guy looks more than willing & might have given the idea given his dance skills. People & Police are under a lot of stress. A warning would have been enough unless he was forced for no mistake.

Common…Policemen are also humans…they too need some entertainment…rather than being beaten up this guy might have been left by showing his dance skills..😁

According to NDTV, the police in-charge has been suspended and sent to the police lines as punishment for the incident.
“At Naya Shahar police post, a video has emerged in which the police in-charge is making a person dance inside the premises. The move amounts to indiscipline, and it has tarnished the image of the local police,” the police said in a statement.
