Man Kidnaps Himself After His Parents Pressurized Him To Find A Job. We All Know The Pain!

“Poora din koi kaam nahi! Sirf TV computer TV computer! Kabhi kuch kaam kar liya kar!”

We all have faced our parents’ frustration when we were unemployed right after college, doing nothing but watching TV and surfing the Internet at home.

Yes, we all looked for jobs earnestly, but sometimes it does take time to find quality employment, and it is only understandable that some of us get frustrated back at our parents for cribbing continuously.

One such unemployed graduate Anuj Upadhya had enough of his parents pressuring him to find work and made an elaborate plan to get himself kidnapped

The only catch – he faked the kidnapping and the story behind it too.

A resident of Gujarat, he had come to his relative’s place in Mumbai to escape his questioning parents. But turned out even they pestered him about finding a job.

Pestered by parents is one thing, but even his relatives pestered him.

Sick of all that, he texted his cousin in Mumbai that he had been kidnapped by ISIS.

His cousin Ankit informed the police about this, and the police took the kidnapping seriously, since ISIS was reportedly involved too. They tracked Anuj’s phone and caught him in Andheri and brought him to the police station for questioning.

Poor Anuj then spilled the beans that he faked his kidnapping to get away from his parents for some time.

The Mumbai Police found no foul play and let Anuj go scot-free, albeit, still unemployed.

“As he was a grown-up, he was expected to get a job to earn a living, but he did not wish to work so he just left his Gujarat house. He was questioned in the matter and has now been handed over to his family.”

But he did end up wasting the time and resources of Mumbai Police, which is not cool at all!

Get a frickin’ job Anuj!
