Uday Chopra Confesses About His Battle With Depression In A Couple Of Now-Deleted Tweets

Uday Chopra is probably going through one of the toughest phases of his life. Once a part of blockbuster movies like Mohabbatein and Dhoom, the 46-year-old now limits his appearances to mostly social media.

However, we got a hint of the actor’s time of despair when he took to Twitter to speak about his daily battles with depression. According to TOI, in the first of a couple of tweets, Chopra mentioned that “he is not ok.”

“Confession: I am not ok! I am trying but so far I’m failing.”

Then came his second one, which was an absolute shocker. Revealing his intentions of a possible suicide, Chopra added that he deactivated his Twitter account for a while which felt like putting his life to rest. He went on to say that he might consider doing it permanently in the near future.

“For a few hours, I De-activated my twitter account. It felt as close to death as I could get. Was phenomenal! I think this is a good good option to suicide. I might be doing it permanently soon.”

If we look back at Uday Chopra’s recent past, his life has been full of setbacks. While his acting career seems to have reached a dead end long ago, he has also been through severe heartbreaks in love. Take, for example, this tweet of his, which roots back to 2018.

Here are a few more which were enough to give us an idea about the ongoing problems in his life.

We hereby express our concern for the actor. People close to Uday should reach out to the actor to make sure he feels included and heard. There are many, even from the world of Bollywood like Deepika Padukone, who have fought the same battle and emerged victoriously.

We sincerely hope that the actor is fine.
